As the year comes to an end, we are excited to announce Virginia Lottery winners across the commonwealth. Read on to learn more about Lottery players winning big in November!

November 2020 Winners

We had over $9 million in prizes of over $1,000 claimed in retail prizes and over $1 million in prizes of over $1,000 claimed in online-games prizes across Virginia during the month of November. That’s over 2,000 players claiming prizes.

One of those winners was Leonard Floyd of Norfolk. He bought a Winning Hand Scratcher and won $200,000. “I was just in awe,” he later told Lottery officials as he claimed the prize. “I just happened to get lucky. It feels amazing!”

It’s always nice to win six-figure prizes, but how about a seven-figure prize?

Jeff Journell of Roanoke just happened to be near A-1 Food Mart where he stopped in and purchased a Millionaire Maker Scratcher and became a $1,000,000 winner. “We were high-fiving in the store,” he later told Lottery officials. “I’ve always wondered what it would feel like, and it felt wonderful!
